Force Members to Re-Sign a Waiver
Invalidate current waiver signatures and send re-sign links when your gym needs fresh signatures.
When to use this
Your gym changed policy and needs a fresh signature from everyone.
A waiver version was replaced and you need existing signers to sign the new version.
A specific member or group needs a new signature because their current one is expired, invalidated, or otherwise no longer acceptable.
Force everyone on a waiver to re-sign
Go to Staff > Admin > Waivers.
Open the waiver.
Choose Invalidate & re-sign when it is shown on the waiver page.
Review the number of current signatures that will be invalidated.
Leave Email these members a re-sign link now checked if you want Topo to send links immediately. Uncheck it if you need to message members later.
Confirm the action.
Ask a segment to sign
Open the waiver and choose Send to segment.
Choose the segment.
Add an optional note for the email.
Send. Topo emails eligible members who do not already have a current signature for that waiver.
Ask one member to sign
Open the member profile.
Find the Waivers card.
Choose Send waiver or Send re-sign link.
Pick the correct waiver when multiple active waivers exist.
Confirm the recipient. Adults receive their own link; minors route to a guardian with an email address.
Operational impact
Invalidated signatures are preserved as history but no longer count as current.
Required waivers can block check-in until the member or guardian signs again.
Front desk staff should use the blocker dialog or member profile waiver card to identify which waiver needs attention.
Re-sign links are tokenized and can expire or be consumed after use, so resend from the member profile if needed.
Common issues and fixes
Nobody was emailed: check whether notification was unchecked, whether affected members have deliverable email addresses, and whether the segment had eligible members.
A minor was skipped in a segment send: send from the minor's profile after adding a guardian with an email address.
The member is blocked at check-in: send a re-sign link and wait for the new signature before checking them in unless your gym policy allows an override.
